Backstory Summary:

Archeologist and Greek historian Blake Willis becomes an alcoholic after her fiancé, Hart Axton never showed up to their wedding. After 5 years, when she drunkenly hits her head, Eros intervenes in a vision. He feels grateful to her for creating a touring exhibit about him that brought him many new followers. He explains that he could not reach her before because Zeus does not like when other Gods intervene, but he finally gave in after 5 years of Eros pestering him. Eros explains where Hart went and how he was cursed when exploring Medusa’s Crypt. Eros uses The Fountain of Asclepius in the vision to restore Blake to her former athletic and healthy state and leaves notes for her to find in her notebook. He hints that the Fountain of Asclepius may be able to save Medusa from her own curse too. With newfound vigor and determination, Blake sets out with hopes to see Hart after all this time.
